Integrity & Heart Consulting is a personal and professional leadership and organizational development company specializing in helping individuals, teams, and organizations to discover the process of leading from within. I work to facilitate courageous space to help you, your team, or organization to nurture seedbeds of hope towards embodying transformative leadership and having measurable impact in your life and/or work sector. Working with me over a period of time encourages sustainability and growth for yourself as a leader, which influences the networks of connection that you are accountable to.
THE APPROACH
For individual, team, and organizational coaching or consulting, Anthony begins his work with an assessment whether working with individuals, teams, or organizations. This assessment provides him with context, and helps the client(s) explicitly articulate the current status of their integrity, courage, and wholeness. For the individual, this exploration will be on the personal and/or professional level, while for teams or organizations, this exploration will be on a relational and culture level.
After assessment, Anthony will invite the client to articulate the parameters and needs of the consulting partnership. This will take the form of a personal, professional, or organizational development plan.
Using principles and practices from the Circles of Trust approach, Anthony will facilitate space for clients to X.
In workshops, Anthony does similar work through the facilitation of seminars that include lectures, and large and small group discussions where clients/participants journey inwards to support the free-flow exchange of perspectives and ideas in addition to honing techniques and skills that inform their leadership.
THE FOUNDER, PRESIDENT, & LEAD CONSULTANT
An ordained Baptist minister, educator, social entrepreneur, and advocate, Anthony is the President and lead Consultant of Integrity & Heart Consulting where he specializes in the area of leadership development for individuals, teams, and organizations.
Anthony has distilled over a decade of experience working with professionals and organizations on their journey towards discovering their fullness and wholeness in every facet of life. Drawing on the Circles of Trust® approach advanced by Parker Palmer and the Center for Courage & Renewal, Anthony strives to cultivate a shared culture of integrity, exploration, accountability, and trust while working with clients and participants of his programs. Working with teams and leaders at all levels of an organization, including executive leadership, Anthony has helped clients explore the inner and outer dimensions of their professional lives or the life of their organizations. He strives to enhance his clients capacity to “lead from within,” both professionally and personally while making informed decisions, and fostering a courageous culture.
Anthony is committed to helping to nurture the sustainability and wholeness of individuals, teams, and organizations so that their inner life promotes external work that is authentic, effective, and radically transformative.
Anthony has earned degrees from American Baptist College (B.A.), Vanderbilt University (M.Div.) with a certificate in Black Church Studies, and Yale University (M.A.R., ethics). He works at the intersections of race, class, ethics, religion, and culture. Anthony’s philosophy is that individuals, teams, and organizations possess the inner, wisdom, gifts, and resources needed to address the multifaceted challenges they face, rather than relying on the thought opinions, suggestions, and assistance from the “experts.” It is the inward journey that supports this retrieval of resources.
Anthony is a trained facilitator through the Center for Courage and Renewal. He has received several awards and fellowships from the Forum for Theological Exploration (FTE), Auburn Theological Seminary, the Beatitudes Society, and DoGoodX. Anthony is a proud member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.
In his spare time, Anthony enjoys leisure reading, traveling to new areas domestically and internationally, fine dinning, being on Zoom sessions with his 2 nieces or his godchildren, and taking long nature walks along trails.
He currently resides in New York City.
